About Us
Hi, we’re Ali and Chloe — the humans behind Barney and Paws. We run things with a little (okay, a lot) of “help” from our two furry CEOs: Barney, our miniature Dachshund, and Paws, our lovable Cavapoo.
This business is built from our shared love for dogs and our desire to create something special for fellow pet owners. For most of my life, I (Ali) worked as a builder.
But after multiple ankle surgeries, I faced an unexpected challenge — I could no longer continue in a physical trade. It was a tough transition, but I knew I needed to find something new, something that would let me stay passionate and make a difference.
That’s when Chloe and I started dreaming up an idea, inspired by the two pups who make every day brighter.
Barney is the stylish little gentleman who loves to strut, while Paws is the cuddly optimist who thinks every stranger is a best friend in waiting.
Watching them grow and thrive in our lives, we realised just how much joy dogs bring — and how deeply they shape our world. They’re not just pets; they’re family. Through Barney and Paws, we wanted to create something that would make both dogs and their owners happy — something that combines our love for dogs, our passion for design, and our commitment to keeping them safe and stylish.
Every collar, leash, and accessory is made with the needs of both dog and owner in mind, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is comfortable, secure, and looking their best.
This journey isn’t just about building a business — it’s about creating a community of dog lovers who understand the joy of muddy pawprints, couch cuddles, and those big “walkies now?” eyes.
